I wonder , about our futures, the upcoming power of elearning technologies/distance education. The social and digital divide that may increase even more poor from rich people; people who can pay good education , in physical formats with good art programmes and the less rich who can not pay expensive educational settings and will be with the online, massified education , may be with less art opportunities. As a mother , I am worried about our futures; a different planet damaged by the environmental crimes of our governors; for profit companies and consumerism behaviours of humans. As a teacher I see no long term visions to a better planet, a better society, a better education for all . But as an artist , I need to create hope in the futures, right? What you think about our roles as parents- teachers/educators-artists to create positive visions of the future?

Thanks for the discussion! In my opinion, it is now necessary to consider education anew, given the experience we have gained. It is an opportunity to reflect on the essence of our field. But also over its significance. Art education was often neglected, it was not considered important. But it is artistic activity that can help to express emotions, process all this crazy and demanding time ... By the way, we currently have a huge increase in patients in the Czech Republic, lockdown has started again… The whole society is very upset ...
Thank you for starting the discussion on an interesting and very important topic. In the first wave of the pandemic we improvised, now the second wave has come and we ask: what will happen next? What if a similar condition lasts a long time? And will it become commonplace?
